Overview: Nearly twenty local farms and food producers every Sunday on the Sherman Green in Fairfield, CT. The mission of the Fairfield Farmer’s Market is to support local farms and food producers by bringing fresh, local food to the community. The collaborative efforts of Mark Barnhart, Director of Economic Development for the Town of Fairfield, Bill Auer, local business owner, and Maureen Auer have brought this market to fruition. This year, Chelsea Seres and the Fairfield Parks & Recreation Department will serve as Market Managers.
