Fans of smashburgers rejoice: 7th Street Burger, the beloved NYC-grown burger joint known for juicy patties, crispy fries and old-school milkshakes, is coming to Stamford’s ShopRite Plaza—its first Connecticut location and a major addition to the local food scene. While an official opening date hasn’t been announced yet, this buzzworthy spot is expected in 2026 and is already drawing plenty of anticipation.
New Flavors Coming to Darien’s Downtown
As part of Darien’s evolving Corbin District, Laurel is set to open in late 2025, bringing seasonal, wood-fired cuisine and contemporary American dishes designed for sharing. Operated by MMM Hospitality, Laurel will focus on warm, casual fine dining with thoughtful cocktails, curated wines, and beers that complement the menu.
For a sneak peek, food lovers can join the Laurel Dinner Series at Kneads Bakery in Westport. The team behind Laurel is also introducing MOMU Ice Cream, opening this spring in Westport, adding yet another sweet reason to follow their projects. Laurel promises to be a vibrant, community-driven destination that fits right into Darien’s revitalized downtown.
