Shooting had just wrapped on a Lexus commercial when it started to pour. That’s when Jeffrey, the star of the ad, locked himself inside the car with the motor running and stared defiantly at the production crew getting drenched. This may sound like just another case of a temperamental actor, except that Jeffrey is a border collie. And he belonged to the woman who was “handling” him on the set, one very embarrassed Peggy Reed.

Peggy is bright, talented and works her heart out seventy hours a week, yet her career is going to the dogs. But that’s perfectly all right with the longtime Wilton resident. After all, she makes her living as a dog trainer.
