Whitby School welcomes the community to visit and tour campus during an Open House on Sunday, January 11, 2015 beginning at 1:00pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to take the journey through Whitby’s compelling continuum of inquiry-based learning from 18 months to Grade 8.
The school’s innovative blend of Montessori (early years) and International Baccalaureate (IB) throughout equips students with skills to successfully thrive in today’s dynamic world.
Whitby’s academically challenging curriculum emphasizes critical and reflective thinking, and a low student-to-faculty ratio allows for individualization to maximize learning. Teachers emphasize whole school development through transdisciplinary curriculums that span to the arts, electives, athletics, community service and advisory programs.
