Westy Self Storage today announced its continued support of the Operation Santa Donation Drive. Founded by Kaisa Newhams, Operation Santa will be hosting its annual collection and distribution of winter coats and toys to underprivileged children at Benjamin Franklin School/P.S. 55 in the Bronx, NY. Come to Westy Self Storage in Stamford and personally select a child’s wish list on November 17 at 7:00 p.m. Westy Self Storage has been participating in Operation Santa for the past 9 years and is pleased to once again be a part of this tremendous effort. In addition to the donation drop off location for Operation Santa, Westy will also provide storage for the donations as well as final delivery via Westy trucks to the school. This drive will run from November 18 to December 12.
Westy is honored to again host the kickoff reception in their grand lobby at 80 Brownhouse Road in Stamford on November 17 at 7:00 pm. During this reception, ‘Dear Santa’ letters written by the children will be showcased. Guests are welcome to take as many letters as they would like and fulfill the children’s holiday dreams, as well as providing a warm coat, mittens and a hat. All are encouraged to attend the reception and participate in the program giving these children a much deserved holiday surprise. The program started with providing Christmas for 1 kindergarten class of 25 children and has now grown to over 400 students from pre-k through second grade! Donations can be made at Westy Self Storage in Stamford where they will be stored and later delivered to the children. Please assist in the success of the Operation Santa by attending the reception and fulfilling a much deserved holiday wish.

Hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays.
