It’s a chance for brides to have the opportunity to look at the latest wedding trends, speak with professionals and gather ideas to make their dream wedding come true.
Types of Vendors That Will Be Attending:
According to Bosco, the producer of wedding expo, brides will be able to speak with make-up artists, florists, photographers, videographers, wedding dress boutiques and DJs.
Plus, there will be non-traditional vendors too! The Penny Lick Ice Cream Company provides an ice cream truck that will pass out ice cream at your reception, while Fire Engine Pizza provides delicious pizza pies for the after-party.
Why Should Fairfield County Brides Attend:
All the vendors that will be attending the expo are local, and many vendors will offer show discounts to brides. One of the things that Bosco prides himself on is the fact that he personally screens all the vendors to make sure that they are the best of the best.
“[The Inn at] Longshore is a beautiful venue and it’s going to be first class all the way,” Bosco explains.
What Brides Should Expect:
The Inn at Longshore will provide a food tasting of hors d’oeuvres and a themed cocktail station. According to Marc Weber, who is in charge of the Inn’s food program, brides will have the opportunity to speak with him or Christine Hussey about their weddings and the Inn’s new food program.
“It will be a great experience with some great food,” Weber says.
Bosco’s Wedding Expo will also be putting on an ongoing fashion show that will showcase different bridal fashions.

“Brides should come prepared with questions, they should know what they are looking for and they should have an idea about price range,” Bosco says.
