A fresh new Offshoot

A “coming soon” sign in the window of the former Crumbs said it all; a big diet change at the corner shop on Jesup Green. The cupcake shop is out; an eatery packed with nutrient-rich, organic food and juices is in. The shop should do well; after all, Westport has bear-hugged clean eating and owners Jeff and Cai Pandolfino are experienced in this. They opened their first two locations in Darien and Cos Cob in 2012 after a successful year of delivering their organic, antioxidant-rich food and juices. A third, in Greenwich, followed in 2013 and New Canaan in 2014. Finally, Westport welcomed the latest location this spring, right downtown and along the river. Find prepared wraps, salads, hot and iced drinks, cold-pressed organic juices and superfood smoothies, food programs and cleanses and healthful products, like the oddly awesome Fire Cider. Free delivery, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., for orders over $25 in town. greenandtonic.com
