Summer time means going to the beach, which of course means wearing a bathing suit. What better way to slim down and tone up than running for a great cause! The Fairfield Theater Company is participating in the Stratton Fairfield Road Races. Join their team to participate in either a 5K on Saturday June 23rd or a Half Marathon on Sunday June 24th.
Participants are required to donate a minimum of $250 to register for the race to recieve amazing benefits including free registration for the race and ticket vouchers for performances at the FTC. This year the Fairfield Road Races will match the first $5,000 that is raised for team FTC doubling the value of your contribution! Proceeds from the race will be divided up among multiple charities.
Hosted by the Fairfield Firefighters, the Stratton Faxon Fairfield Half Marathon is very popular with local runners and is known as one of the country’s top road races. As of this week 3,500 people are running in the half marathon and the 5K is half full. Participants are encouraged to sign up now. Register now as a member of Team FTC to guarantee your spot on the starting line. Runners and walkers are invited.
