Behind the Scenes

McArdle’s Helps Manfredi Continue to Tell the Never-Ending Story

A few timeless things: the inspirational beauty of nature, the exquisite design of heirloom jewels, and a good story. For the November 2015 issue of Greenwich magazine, our talented team combined all three during a day-long photo shoot for an eight-page spread, “The Neverending Story Continued.”

Manfredi Jewels offered a stunning selection of exquisite estate jewelry. Each piece has a story to tell, so we turned to fellow prominent Greenwich business McArdle’s Flower and Garden Center to provide flowers with timeless allure. Recognizing the beauty of how the stones and the petals enhanced each other, we created a romantic and dreamlike backdrop for the story. As part of the shoot’s creative team, McArdle’s Director of Floral Design Michael Derouin helped select the flowers and elegantly arrange them.

We made a hundred creative decisions and focused on every detail so that photographer Jeff McNamara could capture that magical shot of each jewelry-and-flower pairing. The shared ideas blossomed into a story devoted to pure art.

Here is a behind-the-scenes look of the shoot’s creative team at work.
