Brokaw For Scholars

Tom Brokaw filled the house for a recent benefit for the new Stamford Dollars for Scholars at the Palace Theatre, where the legendary NBC News anchor treated the crowd to anecdotes from his days behind the desk. His presentation included his recollections of newsmakers and world leaders, observations about lessons learned from recent history, comments regarding what the future may hold, and a reminder that we all have the civic responsibility to support education. Proceeds for the event will fund up to ten scholarships for high school students who attend school in Stamford.
