Colorful Evening

Gorgeous floral arrangements—both native and exotic greens and blooms–were on display and dramatically lit at the Black Box Theater at Fairfield University. The event was a celebration of nature and hosted by the Fairfield Garden Club. Club members and guests mingled over cocktails at the opening reception and exhibit preview. The club raffled off a hand-carved bench and offered silent auction items. The displays were open to the public throughout the weekend. The Fairfield Garden Club was established in 1915 by gardening enthusiasts; growing strong, the club now maintains the historical herb garden at the Fairfield Museum and History Center and designed hummingbird garden at Giant Steps School, among other projects.
