An evening out with friends became a night to remember once Emily and Quentin met in New York City’s West Village. The two shared an instant connection and started dating. Three years later, on a trip to Paris, Quentin surprised Emily with a proposal. They celebrated with drinks and dinner in the City of Lights.

Senior Pastor Richard DeNuyl Jr. officiated at the ceremony at The Eisenhower House in Newport, Rhode Island, where a reception followed.

The bride, daughter of Anthony and Deborah LaCivita of Greenwich, graduated from Greenwich High School and James Madison University. Emily is a digital fashion consultant for ELV Digital LLC in New York.

The groom, son of Douglas and Joy Velleley of Barraport, Victoria, graduated from Caulfield Grammar and University of Melbourne. Quentin is a portfolio manager and senior vice president with REMS Group in Atlanta, Georgia.

The newlyweds honeymooned in Portugal. They live in Atlanta.
