A chic new boutique for the shoe-obsessed, Lily in Old Greenwich delivers instant style gratification in a comfortable environment. The store, opened by Audrey Aguilar, a Riverside mom, was inspired by her passion for footwear (and named after her daughter). “I’ve always wanted to do this, to be in fashion,” says Audrey, who has a background in finance and looked for the perfect spot in Old Greenwich for a year before securing the space. Brands she’s carrying include Sigerson Morrison, Superga, Frye, Delman and Bettye Muller as well as lesser-known lines from Italy, England and Brazil, including one loafer designed especially for the store. “I went for the best quality I could find at fairly reasonable prices,” she says of the selection. Trends? Booties are big right now, as are over-the-knee boots, she says. Those prepping for a night out on the town will find a well-edited collection of sexy heels. For style that can stand up to snow days and temps down to 22 below, she sourced a fun line of boots from Santana Canada. Audrey also stocks cool accessories and gifts, flowy scarves, elegant clutches made of mother of pearl and wood, vegan leather bags and Alice D. leather totes. It’s time to reboot.

Pets are treasured members of so many families and the owners of Raleigh & Co., Greenwich residents Betsy Kaminski and Diane Galt, understand that our four-legged friends need pampering too. The store is named after their beagle, who was found wandering the streets of Raleigh, North Carolina, and then rescued but in need of TLC. Betsy and Diane have hand-picked products for their store that speak to wellness and style, items that they would want for their own dog. “Most of our goods are made in the United States and not commonly found in larger pet stores, because we work with small suppliers who produce limited quantities,” says Betsy. “Customers will find well-made products designed for the health and happiness of their pets in our shop.” For instance, they carry the Newbury Paws Dog Harness, created by the owners of a mastiff and specially designed to fit larger breeds. There are gourmet organic dog treats; a new line of handmade Harris-tweed collars, leashes, carriers, and dog beds; modern, raised feeding stands to keep pet bowls off the floor and, for furry fashionistas, hand-knit cashmere dog sweaters.
