Festival of Wreaths

The Darien Nature Center will be transformed into a glittering, warm and festive holiday barn to host the 13th Annual Festival of Wreaths on Friday, Dec. 5 from 7-9pm. This year attendees will be treated to an auction of beautiful and unique wreaths, beer courtesy of Two Roads Brewing Company, hors d’oeuvres by Amanda Smith Catering and entertainment from the Darien High School Tudor singers.

This year’s event is being generously sponsored by Baywater Properties, Carta, McAlister & Moore, The Growing Concern, Landmark Financial, Darien Bank & Trust, Halstead Properties, Merrill Lynch, Rings End Lumber and American Dimensions. Tickets are currently on sale for $100/per person at dariennaturecenter.org.

This year, the Nature Center will also be hosting its 2nd annual Children’s Festival of Wreaths on Sunday, Dec. 14 from 4-6pm. Children will be able to make their own wreaths, enjoy a horse-drawn sleigh ride, and be treated to a very special guest appearance by Mr. Claus himself. Tickets are $30/child. Space will be limited for this event, so please reserve your tickets early.

All proceeds from this year’s Festival of Wreaths will directly benefit the Darien Nature Center, its facilities and all ongoing programs.  For further information, contact the Darien Nature Center at 203-655-7459.
