Genevieve received a gift on her birthday that would last a lifetime—her husband-to-be. A mutual friend brought Devon to Genevieve’s party, and in her words, “It was the best present I ever got from the universe.” He asked her out the next day, and they went on their first date that same week. After a year and a half of dating, Devon proposed on a rooftop in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, overlooking Manhattan.

Reverend Jack Davidson officiated at the ceremony at First Congregational Church of Greenwich. A reception followed at the Belle Haven Club.

The bride, daughter of Kevin and Joni Kimberlin of Greenwich, graduated from Greenwich High School and Boston College. Genevieve is a program manager at David Lynch Foundation in New York.

The groom, son of Jackson and Carol Jarvis of Fairfield, Iowa, graduated from the Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment and the University of Iowa. Devon is a business development associate with Global Atlantic Financial Group in New York.

The newlyweds honeymooned in Tahiti and Moorea, French Polynesia, before returning home to New York.
