The versatile “Crescendo Table” is a coffee table that can be raised to a choice of heights up to 28¾ inches for a work space and converted to a dining table with a top that pivots 90 degrees and doubles in size to seat six. The basic table top is 43.25 by 27.5 in an ebony-stained oak graphite or glossy black or white lacquer, all with lacquered base. Enhance

Morgan Interior Design + Architecture partners with Godwin Residential Construction to create environments and enhance existing walls with photographs and/or renderings of architectural elements, such as windows with views, elegant paneling and molding or a fireplace. 215 East 58th St., NYC; mciver-morgan.com

Enchant

The table setting by Resource Furniture at the “Dining by Design” exhibition was a real crowd pleaser, especially with the background space designed to simulate seaside living. Artist Marie Aiello was commissioned to create a video with the theme of “bioluminescence,” shimmering waves glittering like diamonds under a full moon (a vision inspired by her travels sailing the waters in exotic locales). The screen was a concealed, energy-saving, high-definition LED video monitor, 22 feet long and 8.5 feet high, that uses less electricity than a handheld hair dryer. 969 Third Ave., NYC; resourcefurniture.com
