Haute Property

The Lure

Located on Brookwood Lane, this 6,593-square-foot home is close to town, yet sweeping views, lush landscaping and a cul de sac make it private, too.

Family-Friendly

Built in 1973, the house was meticulously renovated and expanded in 2007 by the current owners, who invested several million dollars in the project. When they bought the place, the couple was drawn to its contemporary European style, as well as the pool. The couple then remodeled the residence, adding an entire wing and incorporating modern technologies and appliances. The goal was to create a space large enough to accommodate the couple’s three children and grandchildren during visits.

Hot Features

A state-of-the-art kitchen has a butler’s pantry, bay window and French doors that open onto a stone terrace. A stone staircase leads from this terrace to the lower terraces and pool. A master suite and guest bedroom/office with full bath are on the first level, where there are Brazilian teak floors. The lower level has two ensuite bedrooms, library and playroom.

High-Tech

Modern systems include three HVAC utility rooms for heating/cooling,  under floor radiant heating in the bedrooms and baths, plus underground cable and power. Vantage automated lighting system is programmable; press one button to turn off everything.
