Best friends forever has special meaning for Greenwich High grads Jenny Riskin and Patrick Wilson. After meeting in the eighth grade, the two became fast friends and stayed that way through high school. In college their friendship blossomed into more, and they dated for nine years. Patrick proposed to Jenny during a sunset sail around Nantucket Harbor. There, in a place where they’d vacationed together for years, Jenny said yes to forever.
Harris Bloom officiated at the ceremony at Cedar Lakes Estate in Port Jervis, New York, and a reception followed on the grounds of the estate.
The bride, daughter of Eliot and Bonnie Riskin of Riverside, graduated from Greenwich High School, Union College and Bank Street School of Education. Jenny is a first-grade teacher at Harlem Children’s Zone in New York.
The groom, son of Warren and Jayne Wilson of Cos Cob, graduated from Greenwich High School and Union College. Patrick is a copywriter for McCann-Erickson in New York.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Italy and Greece, then returned
home to New York City.
