On Halloween, a day typically filled with tricks, Tyler and Paige got the best treat of all—an introduction to one another by Tyler’s brother. The two bumped into each other a few times afterwards, but it wasn’t until a chance meeting at the Surf Lodge in Montauk that they began dating. After a year and a half, Tyler surprised Paige by popping the question, offering her sweets from a favorite bakery, blue hydrangeas—and, of course, the ring.

The Reverend Alan Neale officiated at the ceremony at Trinity Episcopal Church in Newport, Rhode Island. A reception followed at the New York Yacht Club at Harbour Court in Newport. The bride’s father was a member of the U.S. Sailing Team and raced out of Harbour Court, which made it a very special place for his only daughter to have her wedding reception thirty-five years later.

The bride, daughter of David and Andrea Corbin of Virginia, graduated from Greenwich Country Day School, The Taft School and the University of Virginia. Paige works for WisdomTree Asset Management in New York City.

The groom, son of George and Jill Kyle of Philadelphia, graduated from Chestnut Hill Academy, Williams College and The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Tyler works for the Bank of Montreal in New York City.

The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in Sumba, Java and Bali in Indonesia. They live in Manhattan.
