President’s Desk – The Excitement Continues

Now that the plaster dust has been cleared, stacks of emptied boxes tossed and the renovation of an entire building completed, our Westport site is finally home to the editorial staffs of four of our five magazines: Fairfield County Weddings, Westport, New Canaan • Darien and our newest shining star, atHome in Fairfield County (Greenwich remains firmly entrenched where it has been for the past seventeen years).

AtHome was launched in April to resounding acclaim from both home devotees and professionals. Its intense focus on style offers inspirational as well as practical advice on making your home your castle, however petit or grand. The launch party for atHome was a great success (the difficulty was in closing the bar!).

Since this year’s tickets will be strictly limited, be sure to order yours early for the Best of the Gold Coast Connecticut Party  in August. Last year’s event drew nearly 2,000 people to the Hyatt Regency, where we celebrated the best in goods, services and dining in lower Fairfield County. Profits from the event benefited a worthy cause, Kids in Crisis.

And finally, we encourage you to visit our new websites for each of our magazines. We’ve added a Fairfield County guide to give you a portal to goods and services in our area. We’ve also included more content and easy access to forms to order subscriptions or back issues, and expanded the social calendar of charitable events. Visit GreenwichMag.com, NCDmag.com and WestportMag.com and explore!
