In commemoration of the second anniversary of the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy The Greenwich Council Against Gun Violence is joining The ENOUGH Campaign for their second annual Stamford Vigil of Hope in a peaceful gathering of remembrance for all those who have fallen victim to the ongoing epidemic of gun violence in America.
The Stamford Vigil is timed to coincide with the National Vigil for Victims of Gun Violence hosted by the Newtown Action Alliance at the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., and with 174 other community-based vigils occurring across the nation.
Your presence will be a meaningful demonstration of support to reduce gun violence and to show the community our compassion for the victims and their loved ones. Please come light a candle with us. With all of us together, our light of hope will be so much brighter.
Children are welcome, and dress warmly as we will be outside.
