Drew and Susannah met while vacationing with their families on Nantucket. Susannah was downtown for dinner and was about to go home but decided to meet a friend for a nightcap at Straight Wharf. Drew was at the table with her friend who introduced them. They chatted, exchanged numbers and have been by each other’s side ever since.
The pair dated for two years before getting engaged while on vacation in Charleston, South Carolina. The Rev. Terence Elsberry officiated at the ceremony at Winged Foot Golf Club, where the reception followed.
The bride, daughter of William Vasu of Roxbury and Linda Vasu of Cos Cob, graduated from Greenwich Academy and the University of Vermont. Susannah is the founder of V Public Relations.
The groom, son of Mark and Carol Dacey of Norwalk, graduated from New Canaan High School and Franklin & Marshall College. Drew works for Maybank Kim Eng Securities in New York City.
The couple honeymooned in California Wine Country and San Francisco. They recently bought a home in New Canaan.
