Jonathan Plotkin’s sister, Amanda, set him up on a blind date with Lesley. The couple met at Whisky Park in New York City and immediately hit it off. Jon fell in love with Lesley’s smile, and Lesley was impressed with Jon’s display of chivalry as he flagged a cab and opened the door for her at the end of the night.
Rabbi Robert Levine officiated at the ceremony at Tribeca Rooftop in New York City. During the reception, also held at Tribeca Rooftop, the couple shared their first dance to the song “1,000 Years” by Christina Perri.
The groom is the son of Fred and Janet Plotkin of Weston. He graduated from Staples High School and then earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Jonathan is a senior managing director of commercial real estate at Colliers International in New York City.
The bride, daughter of Geri and Larry Glick, is a group account supervisor at Phase Five Communications in New York. She received her bachelor’s in biology from Colgate and her masters in psychology from New York University. The couple returned home to New York following a honeymoon in Bora Bora.
