Stamford Symphony Performs Mozart Requiem

The Stamford Symphony, with the Greenwich Choral Society will be performing the Mozart Requiem on Saturday March 14th at 8pm and Sunday March 15th at 3pm at Stamford’s Palace Theatre.  In addition, The Symphony will perform living composer Philip Glass’ Symphony No. 3.  Both of these pieces are sure to lift you out of the present into another world altogether.

The unfinished work of Mozart’s Requiem has long been the subject of many myths and rumors.  In fact, it proved to be enough to material to make into a Hollywood blockbuster in the recent film Amadeus. To learn more about the history of the Requiem, please read Stamford Symphony’s program notes: Click Here
