Bradley and Lauren first met at Trinity College in Hartford but did not become friends until they reconnected years later after bumping into each other while out in Stamford. Their friendship soon became a relationship.
The pair became engaged while on vacation in the Canadian Rockies. Bradley chopped firewood to keep the cabin warm and once the fire was roaring, he got down on one knee and asked Lauren to marry him.
Being a longtime member of Riverside Yacht Club, Lauren grew up seeing brides at the club and hoped one day she would have her special day there, too. The bride’s sister Jennifer Ayres became ordained for the wedding and married the couple at Riverside Yacht Club, where the reception followed.
The bride, daughter of David and Jean Ayres of Riverside, graduated from Greenwich High School and Trinity College. Lauren works for Wusthof in Norwalk.
The groom, son of Robert and Patricia Soules of Schenectady, New York, graduated from Simsbury High School and Trinity College. Bradley works for the real estate firm Newmark Grubb Knight Frank in Stamford.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Iceland. They call Stamford home.
