Let the Bully Beware

Gregory Leach and his mom, Kate, sat on the floor of their Weston home, chatting casually, at first. Then Kate broached an upcoming lifestyle change to her eleven-year-old. After just eighteen months, Dad’s job would uproot the family and move them back to Massachusetts.

Most kids who’ve forged friendships and put down roots react sadly, angrily even, to the disruption of relocating. But Greg didn’t seem to mind. At least, he figured, the move would get him far away from the few bullies who made his life a living hell in middle school.
