The Big Reveal

Making the most of land and sea, this Riverside garden is lush in and of itself, yet also ultimately frames a breathtaking view of Long Island Sound. Designers at Sasco Farms Landscape Design took great care to create a slow reveal for visitors as they walk the property. Step by step, the property offers up a new delight, establishing a playful expectation of what is to come next. From the reconfigured driveway to the rose garden, to the rear terrace and lush lawn, the magic of the design comes from showcasing a superb water view—the perfect backdrop for parties.

“We tried to keep it relaxed and not overdone, with just subtle touches of color,” says Dianna Cutler, the owner of Sasco Farms.

With a mix of plants like allium, roses and walkers low neppeta and a healthy dose of lush greens, designers John Lloyd and Selim Yolac infused the garden with relaxed formality, which makes guests feel welcome and just as at home as the family who lives there.
