Katherine Armenta & David Jamieson

Katherine Mary Armenta and David Raymond Jamieson met in New York City amongst a large group of friends. They shared many passions and similar interests. One weekend in Kennebunkport, Maine, they quickly realized there was more to their friendship, and it wasn’t long before they were talking about their future. Their wanderlust turned their sights to the West Coast, where they decided to test the waters and the job market in San Francisco. Before moving, David proposed over dinner at their favorite restaurant in New York on Prince Street. It was a rainy evening and when Dave, as the groom is known, produced the ring from inside his wet umbrella, the ring, slick with water, went flying out the restaurant door. Dave scrambled for the ring and proposed to Kate, as the bride is known, while still on his hands and knees. The bride’s oldest brother, Jon Armenta, and the groom’s oldest sister, Cindy Jamieson, officiated at the ceremony held at the River Club in Kennebunkport, Maine. A reception followed there.

The bride, daughter of Elizabeth Armenta of Kennebunk, Maine, and Enrique Armenta of Syracuse, New York, graduated from Wellesley College. She is an interior designer in San Francisco.

The groom, son of Judy and Robert Jamieson of Greenwich, graduated from the Brunswick School and Boston College. He received his M.B.A. from Babson College. He is in real estate development with Kimco Realty in San Francisco.

Following a honeymoon in Southeast Asia, the newlyweds returned home to San Francisco, California.
